Perovskite LEDs

Fabrication and device engineering of perovskite light-emitting diodes through the optimisation of individual functional layers with different materials from polymers, organic, and inorganic materials, and fabrication processes (spin coating, PVD, ALD) to enhance the performance and stability. Characterisation of samples with AFM and TRPL to understand the surface and optical properties of the samples.

Levitation of nanoparticles

Levitation of Au nanoparticles using planar Paul traps and target deposition on a substrate using a robotic arm. Imaging and spectral analysis.

Solar Absorber Coatings

Developed high-absorptance spinel coatings on stainless steel via dip-coating and tested hydrophobic coatings for solar panel applications.

Inverse Opals

Fabrication of opal structures by spin coating of PMMA spheres synthesised by surfactant free emulsion polymerisation. Followed is the fabrication of inverse opal structures with PMMA opal structures as a template. Poster presentation at an international conference.
